Stardust by Neil Gaiman

Words can not describe how much I loved this book! You know that feeling you get when you hear really good music? It kind of makes your heart hurt? That's how this book made me feel.

This was just one fantastic fairy tale. It was truly perfect. I don't want to tell plot details because that would just be giving away some of the magic. If you haven't read this, please do. It's just wonderful.

This book counts toward the Once Upon a Time challenge and the A to Z challenge.

I'm interested to read this one. I just finished another book by Gaiman and find that I love his writing style. I came upon your blog because of Weekly Geeks! I really enjoy the blog and will be adding you to my blogroll.

I'm returning your visit and find another Gaiman fan. I have real problems with his work for children, but really ought to try more of his adult work. I'll put this on the list.

I love this book too, so you don't need to worry about explaining - I know just what you mean!

Another book that has been sitting in my TBR pile for far too long!

I'm glad to see so many people agree with me on Stardust! Debi, you must read this! (I'm holding off on recommending it to my 11-year-old due to some mature scenes, but I can't wait until she's ready to read it!)

I absolutely love your description of how much you love this book :) I'm right there with you. Everything that Gaiman writes just about makes me feel this way. Glad you enjoyed it!

I loved this book too. The other one of his that I read was American Gods, which I also loved. I almost don't want to read another for a while, in case I run out too quickly!

I enjoyed the movie too, btw, cheesy though it was... :-)

Chris - I'm glad someone gets what I meant in my description of Stardust!

Joanna - American Gods is also in my list of books for the Once Upon a Time Challenge. Can't wait to get to it!

I'll preface this by saying I'm a HUGE fan of Gaiman anyway. But Stardust is just such a magical tale. I read it last year and just loved it!

Stardust was my second Neil Gaiman book, and so different from American Gods. I am really impressed with our versatile the author is. Stardust was such a great story. I am glad you liked it too.

I've just read this book too and yeah, I thought it was well worth a read. I also enjoyed the movie very much! For me, I felt that the movie's better than the book but the book's special in its own way. Great writing style and everything. This is my first Gaiman book and I plan to read more of his works.

Here's my Stardust review. :)
