I read Water for Elephants on the cruise - watch for a post on it in LJ, probably not until this weekend though.

Snow Flower and the Secret Fan is also in the pile to read (another book club book).

I know we've got Weedflower and Pompeii: Lost and Found in my library's collection - I bought the latter!

Thank you so much for your kind words about my FIL. That was so kind of you!

And thanks for joining in Annie's challenge. She is so excited by the addition of each new person who signs up!

I wish I'd thought of Weedflower for my plant pick. I absolutely fell in love with Kira-Kira.

Debi, I'm excited to join Annie's challenge! I have an 11-year-old daughter who has been asking to start a blog herself and was excited to hear about Annie's blog. Maybe I'll get her started with one so that she can join Annie's challenge, too.
